ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm COHEJH. I'm a programmer who makes Websites with HTML, CSS and JS, and Apps with Electron, Tauri and Python. I have over 5 years of programming experience, making everything from Games to Web Browsers. I enjoy programming as it involves problem solving and maths, two things I am very good at. I am currently expanding my horizons, and learning how to make AI, so expect many AI-focused projects in the future...

Education

Scratch

2018 - Scratch

In 2018, I discovered programming for the first time, and I was instantly hooked. I learnt to use Scratch, to make basic projects, mostly games, such as pong.

2019

Python

2019 - Python at Tynker

After a while, I began to find Scratch far too basic and restricting, as it wasn't even a proper programming language, and so I decided to learn Python. Python was far more powerful and advanced, and so I was able to create my first real programs, including a basic text editor, and a video downloader for YouTube.

Web Development

2020

2020 - Web Dev at W3Schools

In 2020, stuck inside during the pandemic, I decided to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript, the 3 languages required to make a website. This enabled me to make cool sites for my self and for other people, and to make useful apps, such as a music player and a messaging app using the Electron and Tauri libraries.

Unity Flight Simulator

This was my first game I helped make, which was made in Unity, I helped implement real world maps into the game, using the bing maps API, enabling people to fly around in a 1:1 scale Earth.

Website for Cognite Neurotechnology

I made this website for Cognite Neurotechnology Ltd. using my regular tech stack, but I had to also migrate their website to a different hosting provider, which was by no means an easy process.

Ion

Ion (Formerly CluckCluckGo) is a powerful, secure and fast web browser I made using Electron and React, with over 300 downloads. It comes with a huge library of extensions and an advanced Ad and Tracker blocker.

Scrunch

Scrunch

When I began to get more advanced at programming, I started to feel that Scratch was too restrictive and weak. So, I developed Scrunch, a more powerful version, with many useful modifications, and the ability to load your own extensions.
